Additional Training Opportunities & Preseason Development

UFO Camp Officials

As we approach the start of the football season, we have several additional training opportunities available to help you prepare for the upcoming year.

These sessions are designed to improve your mechanics, rules knowledge, positioning, communication, game management, and overall confidence on the field. More importantly, they provide an opportunity for you to be evaluated by experienced officials and crew chiefs.

The more training sessions you attend, the greater your opportunity to earn assignments at every level of football, including:

  • Youth Football

  • Middle School Football

  • Junior Varsity Football

  • Varsity Football

Success doesn't happen by chance, it comes from preparation, consistency, and hard work. If you're serious about becoming a better football official, show up, work hard, ask questions, and be coachable.

Our goal is to provide every official with a clear development path toward becoming a confident, knowledgeable, and successful football official. These training opportunities are designed to prepare you for the season while allowing experienced evaluators to assess your progress.The officials who consistently attend training, demonstrate improvement, and embrace coaching will place themselves in the strongest position to earn assignments on Youth, Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity football crews.

New Officials

  • Officials who are not yet registered will receive vouchers for their first year through our camp.

  • Gain the knowledge needed to allow our officials to receive game schedules at multiple levels, including:

    • Little League

    • High School

    • Semi‑Professional

  • Learn the pathway to advancing to the college level.

Veteran Officials

  • A great opportunity to refresh and sharpen your mechanics.

  • Gain knowledge of current rules and annual rule changes.

  • Opportunity to recruit and mentor up‑and‑coming officials, as well as support crewmates who may be retiring or returning from injury.

  • A chance to give back by sharing the experience and knowledge you have gained throughout your officiating career.
